Right from the start, this little body of work "Still Eggs" were a joy to paint. Setting up the still life compositions with plenty of double sided tape, so the eggs could stand alone and not topple over. As I really wanted the viewer to have an unexpected moment, questioning how the eggs were standing upright or balancing on glasses. I think I smashed 6 eggs as a result.
