YELLOW OCHRE the yellow dish

This little series of paintings is a result of playing in my studio. To encourage me to loosen up, I painted simple still life’s set up in front of me, using bigger brushes and thicker paint, while restricting my time on each painting. This was a challenge for me as I normally paint from photos, focusing on detail. I thoroughly enjoyed the process, as I’m always striving to improve myself as an artist.
